Not sure what to say?

On this anniversary, Doug, Dr. Geehan, you are missed and remembered. I was seeking your endorsement for my book, because of the connection you and your son have with the medical/surgical history detailed in "Blue Baby and Acute Coronary Revascularization". My hope is your son will read my book, Blue Baby & ACR, published recently with Koehler Books. With love, Tracy Berg

Doug Geehan and I were surgical interns together at University of Maryland Department of Surgery in Baltimore, Maryland. Then together for the entirety of our general surgical residency. You are missed, Doug. With love, Tracy Berg, MD

I usually saw Doug twice a year at Committee on Trauma meetings in KC and elsewhere. He had a tremendous sense of humor and never passed up a moment to talk about his children of whom he was obviously very proud. We will miss his perspective and insight.

Dr. Geehan I will miss you. The memories of spending my working day/nights in the OR with you will never be forgotten. Thank you for the experiences and the wealth of knowledge you taught me throughout the years. When I listen to The Rolling Stones you always come to mind. God bless and may you Rest In Peace.

Doug Geehan was a unique individual who inspired and delighted everyone who knew him. He will be missed but never forgotten. May his memory be for a blessing...

Dr. Geehan was a wonderful human and spectacular doctor. I've known Dr. Geehan for about 17-18 years and have experienced his caring bedside mannor as a patients family member and as a professional. He was a wonderful educator. He would question everything you did, it use to make me nervous, but I soon learned he was trying to make us question ourselves so we would be better. He was an advocate for medicine and better healthcare. He will be truly missed.

Dr. Geehan will be missed in the OR at TMC. He always had a story to tell and made us all laugh. We will miss his generosity. Rest in peace Sir.
