You all will never be apart. “

Caroline, Matt and Andrew:

Judy and I were so sorry to hear that Doug had lost his difficult battle with cancer. He was a visionary and a wonderful human being. We will always remember him.
In 1987-88 Doug built a terrific house for us on Tolend Rd. in Dover. It was about 3300 sq. ft. and we heated space and hot water on less than 500 gallons of oil per year! Our son began working for Doug about the same time. Doug was always excited about the project. We argued about how many...

Dear Caroline, Matt and Andrew: When I opened Foster's this morning at work, I was shocked to hear of Doug's passing. I did not even know that he had been sick.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time. Losing a loved one during the holidays is extremely hard. When I lost my Mom it was three weeks before Christmas. We will be thinking of you all.

Here is a hug from the Breden Family.

Caroline, Matt and Andrew,
I worked with Doug at Katz Development for 3 years. After first he came across quite gruff but once I saw past that I saw what a kind, wonderful, funny man he was. He always had those one liners that made us chuckle as well as his long opinionated conversations that he was passionate about. That was Doug and I grew to love, respect and admire him. We also followed Survivor together and I would often record it for him when he was traveling with you, Caroline. ...

Dear Caroline, Matt, and Andrew
I share your sorrow. You have lost a soulmate and father and I have lost a dear friend who impacted my life in so many ways.

I first met Doug in the mid-70's when I was the Principal of the Oyster River Middle School in Durham. Doug and his friend Don were students at UNH and came to see me to propose a class in Mountain Hiking and Hiking Survival as part of a class assignment. They wanted to teach skills to 8 students and culminate the class...

I was his counselor at Camp Mowglis and I remember Doug so well.He was a great hiker and outdoorsman, a terrific trumpet player, and wonderfully solid, easygoing young man. I always was impressed by him, and followed his career as a builder with great interest. All of us at Mowglis remember him, and share your grief.
