Douglas was born on April 9, 1942 and passed away on Sunday, May 5, 2019. Douglas was a resident of Plaquemine, Louisiana at the time of passing. Visitation will be at Wilbert Funeral Home in Plaquemine on Tuesday May 7, 2019 from 8:30am until 11am. Funeral service will be conducted at 11am at the funeral home with interment to follow at Grace Memorial Park.

Such a shock to me to learn of Doug's passing, and my deepest sympathies you all.
He will also be missed by all of his old boxing team mates who knew that he could always be depended on as a winner and loyal member of the team; always a gentleman, in the ring as well as outside the ring. Thanks old friend - rest well.
