I would like to extent my heart-felt sympathy to all of Doug's family on his passing. Doug played an important role in my life, hiring me for my first "real" job as an appraiser at DCAD. Without that opportunity, I'm not sure what path in life I might have taken. As things stand now, I know I owe much of my success to Doug's decision to take a chance on me. To Cassie, Ashley, & Doug Jr, I was saddened to hear about Doug. I just wanted you to know that you are in my prayers. Weeping may endure for a night but joy cometh in the morning. I am sorry that I will not be there for you and the kids physically but I will be with you spiritually.
