Not sure what to say?

Just learned of Doug's death. He was my first high school boyfriend. Christmas cards Kept our families in touch. I am so sorry Ann and family for your loss and mine. Mary (Sperling) Ely.

My sincere condolences on loss of your dear loved one. May the wonderful memories you shared with him and hope of seeing him awake from sleep one day soon, bring you comfort during this difficult time.

My beloved friend Doug was my classmate at Jay Hi (as we called it then) back in the forties, when Douglas Island still had its own high school. I loved him like the brother he came to be for me, advising me, helping and protecting me when others in my class found it fun to "pick on" young, helpless, skinny Beverly Lane. Gregg family~I'm very sorry for your loss. Doug was a lovely man who will always be part of the fabric of Juneau and AK. He will be deeply missed.

Deepest condolences to the Gregg family.

A great neighbor and wonderful family man, as well as a great musician!

I loved it when he heard the jam session in my living room from across the street, grabbed his guitar and amp, and showed up at my front door asking if he could sit in.

Doug Bridges is right, he could really swing a tune!

Doug was a wonderful, kind and generous man. He always was enjoyable to visit with.
He will live on in our thoughts. My thoughts and prayers to all his family and friends... Marti
