Read MoreIt was my great privilege to know the Hales professionally and then to call them friends. I'll always remember Doug fondly for his quick wit and great sense of humor. A tremendous faculty member and so committed to the good of the University. He gifted me with several books and I'm honored to be a part of his legacy. Condolences to the family.
