Read MoreI was the only girl among the 8 Doughty grandchildren. Although Douglas was 6 years older, he was always unfailingly kind and looked after me when I was a child and he was a teenager. We have kept in touch by email the last few years, and I will miss his delightful humor and brilliant mind. I am thankful to have had Douglas as a cousin.
