Not sure what to say?

I will always treasure the memories of Doug keeping me in stitches as a child (and as an adult for that matter). What a storyteller! He will be greatly missed. Condolences and blessings to Dorothy and family.

Chock was the best neighbor and friend I could ever have been lucky enough to have. His attitude, laughter, trust and friendship have graced my life and supported me through many a tough day. He and Dorothy never failed to lift me up and encourage me. I will miss my little buddy and the happy spirit that always greeted me from his front yard swing with a smile and whistled tune. God Bless ya, Chock - now the angels can partake in some REAL tamales!

My deepest sympathies to you all. Since hearing of Choc's passing, I have been constantly reminded of all the sayings of his that are a part of my everyday life. He enriched my knowledge and outlook from an early age and was an exceptional example to me. My only regret is that I failed to maintain contact over these past few years, particularly since our birthdays are on the same day. My Best Wishes to you all.
Sincerely,
-Alexander Martinez

I am very saddened to learn of Doug's passing. My thoughts go out to all of Doug's family & to many of those who knew him. I will miss him greatly. We had become even better friends thru e-mails & jokes via the computer. I can't count how often he lifted my spirits & made me laugh thru that unique sense of humor he had. He was without a doubt, a very
extrodinary person. It's been an honor & a pleasure to have known him.

My,what a guy.I have soooo many memories of the times I spent with Doug. I truly loved him.And Dorothy I treasure the time we spent with you and Doug. Love Dan

Doug was one of our dearest friends. He loved people, was one of the funniest persons on the planet, and appreciated the absurdities of life. The world will not be the same without Doug.

Doug - You brought happiness and life to all who knew and were around you. We were fortunate to have known you and Dorothy since before your 30th Anniversary. You will be missed by all who knew you. We know that you and Doug Jr. are now together and are the "Guardian Angels" for Dorothy and your family.
