Not sure what to say?

Mr. Hansen, sometimes Buddha, NEVER "Doug". What a wonderful, passionate, honest and always quick to humor man. You where a role model and father-figure to many - me included. I hope to always remember our Canada fishing trips (where the name "Buddha" was born) and the many, many hours of the camping group. No one could make a single joke, a real or absolute fake story carry on with a straight face as long as you could - it was a gift and never got tiring. Thank you Mr. Hansen for always...

We were kids together. He was several years older. One of the nicest guys in the neighborhood.

I had Doug as a wood shop, mechanical, architectural , drafting teacher. Excellent teacher, and a man of integrity, made a difference in my life, I am using the skills he taught me today. Thank you Doug.

I didnt know Doug by being a family member or a past student, I met Doug and his wife Donna through my work, a family restaurant, we met many years ago. He would come into that door, always with a smile on his face and something funny to say. He made me laugh and he always made my day. I told them they were such a good looking couple not just physically, but in their hearts. His Love and compassion for the Lord was uplifting and reminds me to try to be a better Christian. I want to thank him...

One of my earliest memories of Doug goes back to the early 80's. I was a new youth sponsor and he came along to a men and boys retreat campout to teach the boys about fishing. I had never met someone so in to fishing. It was fascinating. Then I had many years of singing in the bass section with him, enduring his constant stream of jokes, corny but funny, and an indicator of his jouful, playful spirit. Heaven is rejoicing even though there is sadness on Earth. Our thoughts and prayers are...
