Not sure what to say?

My heart goes out to you at this time and in the days ahead.

I am truly saddened to hear of Doug's untimely passing. I recall his friendship during our days at Murphy High School. My prayers to all the family.

Louise and family.....
I am was so sad to learn of Doug's death. I'm so glad we had a chance to be with you and Doug during the 50th reunion. He was always a favorite "Murphy Guy"! May the wonderful memories of your life together sustain you and give you God's peace and comfort.

Was very sorry to hear about the loss of my friend and classmate Douglas Hatcher. I talked to Doug just before the SC GA football game. Was to get together with Norman King and Frank Thomas for Dinner and watch the game. Doug has a prior commitment ,so we planned to get together later. After High School I went aboard ship in the Navy and Doug went to SC, the barefooted punter. A very special moment in my deployment to Taiwan and the Vietnam area was hearing over a ships radio a football game...

Louise and Family,
Jim (Pierre) and I extend our deepest sympathy at this difficult time. Paul's "holiday" paries at the lake house were always a little brighter when you and Doug were there. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

Dear Bliss and the Hatchers,
I am so sorry to hear of your son's passing. Please know you all will be in my thoughts and prayers. Your memories of him will bring you comfort during the most difficult times.
Sincerely,
Lynn Bird
