Dear Dale and Gene. I know there are no words to take away the pain. My heart goes out to you both and your families. May He rest in peace.

Doug, you are now relieved from your post. A job well done fellow war veteran. The final battle is now over and peace has been restored. America thanks you for your service to our country in the defense of freedom. The final cast off has been made and taps is about to sound ending a successful career as a nation´s defender. Farewell fellow veteran.

Sorry to read of Doug's passing, my condolences to his family. I met him through his brother Bob who was my neighbor, co-worker and friend. Doug was gracious enough to let me hunt on his farm back in the sixties and I got my first deer there. Thank you Doug, may you rest in peace my friend.
