Douglas N. Higgins

I'm so sorry to hear of Doug's passing. I worked for Higgins Construction in the late 70's / early 80's, and Doug was a kind and generous boss.

Worked for Doug when he was just getting started excellent person always treated employees fairly prays for the family

Kelly, Dan and Bill, Sharron and I offer our deepest condolences for the loss of your dad. Doug will always be remembered for his quiet competence and good nature. He was a remarkable businessman and father. Our prayers are with you and his wonderful grandchildren; all of whom meant so much to him.

Many great memories of playing cards over the years with Mr. Higgins, Dan and Bill, especially learning the game of swick. My kids ended up being classmates with his grandchildren so I got to see Mr. Higgins at several events, loved talking Michigan sports with him. He was indeed a kind and generous individual. Jennifer, Michael, Sarah, John and I all send our heartfelt sympathies to the family.

Doug was an extremely kind and generous man. He will indeed be missed by all who knew him. My heartfelt sympathies to Carolyn especially but indeed to his children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and countless friends.
