Was so sorry to hear of Doug's passing. I remember Doug from Harding Middle School. The first thing that comes to my mind about Doug was that he was one of the good guys. Nice to everyone. My heart breaks for you, I lost my husband in December, so I know what you are going through. It's too young. I hope that your faith and family and friends will help you all get through this.

When I met him freshman year at LHS, I became a quick supporter of his causes. His smile was electric. His Spirit for the Lord was strong. I respected him :). I am sorry for your loss. Too, too soon. Dee-Dee Rolfe

Doug and I were HS classmates. He was one of the good guys at LHS. Many blessings to his family!

Doug was a good friend to us. He was our "Dougie Wougie". We hung out with him at choir events, football games, going out for pizza after games, . . . We shared so much fun and oh, how we laughed, ... and laughed, . . . and laughed. We remember Doug's smile. He had the most wonderful smile, and he was always smiling. We remember too his warm and gentle nature. Doug never had an unkind word for or about anyone. We are grateful to have had him in our lives. He was truly one of a kind.

Words fail at times like this knowing that a loved one, who in flesh, was an extension of tangibility of our Heavenly Father, has parted from our midst. However, Doug's legacy of God's love, remains in the hearts of all those who were blessed to have known him. Our souls are on the verge of envy as Doug gets to sit at the throne of God with fullness of worship for eternity. Meanwhile, our human hearts respectively grieve at the loss of a family member and friend alike, wanting for this loved...
