Not sure what to say?

Misty, will keep you and the family in my prayers. i spent time with Doug on the city council; He aways had Wasilla's best interest in his heart.

I choose to remember your mannerisms such as the "BAAA" before making a proclamation that caused those around you to smile or laugh. Be it caring or mischievous, your smile brightened the day of those of us who were both proud and honored to know you. Our thoughts and prayers are with your family. Go with God

Grateful for the times we shared at the lake. We will remember his great smile and fun disposition. Sending love from VA to Holler Family during this great loss.

Doug was a tour de force in the truest sense of the word - memorable, kind, funny, capable in so many capacities, exemplary husband and father...but most importantly, the love, heart and shared soul of his family. May this love comfort your family during this challenging time. We are thinking of you. Reach out if you need anything. Our...

Misty, our deepest sympathies come to you and your family with great sadness, for such a sudden and early death. He must have been needed in heaven for a very important assignment. He will be missed by all who knew him.

Thinking of you Misty, and all of the family. I´m so very sorry to hear this news. We always had so much fun and many memories with you both during our years in Alaska. Doug was such a sweet soul, always smiling, always there for the kids during those years of youth hockey. I will always remember him as hockey dad first, even though I know he wore many reputable titles through the years, his love shown in his volunteered time coaching the kids. Hugs to you and the boys

This is so sad I coached Doug when he played for the Rossland Warriors and then he stayed with me for awhile before going back to Alaska. our condolences to you and the boys. Please gives my thought's and prays to Conrad.

My heart goes out to your family and to everyone who knew Doug. What a wonderful life he had with Misty and his sons. God bless you all.

He will be missed. I enjoyed spending tome with him his Gramma and Conrad Hunting at the Family Homestead near Grassy Butte ND. Condolences to his Family.
