Met him and his brother on Kane creek trail. Back in august. We had 3 jeeps with our family. They were in 2. They helped us climb hamburger him. Then we helped them. Road the rest of the trail together. Nice guys

I´m deeply saddened to hear of Doug´s passing. He hired me about seven years ago, taking a chance on me when I needed it most. I´ll always be grateful for the opportunity he gave me and the belief he had in me. His impact on my life and career will never be forgotten.

Thanks for all of the advice about how to do Moab well; following up before, during and after the trip; and making sure I knew I could call you if I ever got stuck. You wouldn´t have even needed GPS coordinates, you could´ve found me by a vague description of the landscape. I´m grateful to have known you.
