Not sure what to say?

Doug´s unwavering commitment to family, justice, and perseverance strengthened my own belief in the power of resilience and the importance of caring for those we love. His legacy extends far beyond the corporate world and the courtroom, leaving an indelible mark on the world through his leadership, mentorship, and tireless pursuit of excellence. He will be deeply missed, but his example will continue to inspire those who strive to be better, never give up, and make a meaningful impact.

I met Doug nearly two decades ago and at every turn he taught me. He taught me how to be a better lawyer, a stronger nonprofit leader, a kinder and more compassionate human being, and so much more. I am so grateful that our paths crossed.

One of the finest individuals I have ever met. I was both honored and privileged to have known him. My condolences to the entire Houser family.

One remarkable human being and it was an honor to know him

As we witnessed his joy for life, love of golf, and commitment to his family, friends, and professional life, he was a mentor to us all . . .

I met Doug in 1977 and have always considered him as a trusted and loyal friend. It saddens me greatly to hear of his passing. Doug's advice, friendship, and guidance were invaluable to me. May you rest in peace Doug Houser, May you rest in peace...

"Doug Houser was a beacon of integrity and compassion, whose life of service and dedication left an indelible mark on all who knew him. His kindness, leadership, and unwavering commitment to others will be deeply missed, but his legacy will continue to inspire for generations to come."

I will greatly miss Doug. He was a fine mentor and friend. Doug was a wonderful storyteller and speaker and I always enjoyed attending Toastmasters at Arlington Club when Doug spoke. I was fortunate to serve on Arlington Club's Board with Doug, and on the William Temple House Board with Lucy. Two wonderful people who left positive and enduring marks on their community.

Doug was a loyal friend. I will miss him greatly. We had wonderful political debates, but shared many values, including the mantra of disagreeing without being disagreeable.
