Not sure what to say?

Once in a while you meet someone who impresses not by who he is, but what he has done for others. Douglas Howard was such a man to me. I met him at a seminar in High Point,NC several years ago and was blown away by all the reconstructions he had done. Bonda Ache will always be an impressive memory for me, because of him. Howard family, I share your loss of a very fine man. Deepest sympathies to you all!

I only saw Mr. Howard one time, but I will never forget him. He presented me one of his Mortuary Affairs, Director coins to me for being honor graduate of my 92M class. To this day it is my favorite reward of my 22 year military career. "Dignity, Reverence, Respect".

I,WILL AIWAYS HAVE THE MEMORIES
OF A CLASSMATE AT THE RECENT 50TH
REUNION THIS PASS SEPTEMBER.
I, CAN TRULY SAY WE WILL ALL MISS
HIM VERY MUCH.I,ENJOYED KNOWING
HIM.

IT WAS REALLY GREAT TO SEE DOUG AT OUR 50TH CLASS
REUNION, WE HAD A GREAT GROUP OF PEOPLE IN OUR
CLASS OF 1958. DOUG WILL BE MISSED. LARRY H. PAPPAS, MARYLAND

News of Doug's death saddens me, but I rejoice that last September we shared the celebration of our 50th high school reunion in Wilson. His generous spirit and exemplary life bring honor to his classmates. I am proud to be one of them. May you find comfort in memory and have peace in your heart.

I will truly miss Doug and all the assistance he provided me over the years. A real friend.

I thank God, Mrs. Howard and the Howard family for sharing this great man with the Mortuary Affairs community and with myself. I'll truly miss the best dressed gentleman on FT. Lee and his encouraging words of wisdom. May God comfort you with His perfect peace.

We only have known Doug briefly through Billy and Linda. We are so sorry to learn of his passing and wish to send our thoughts and prayers to the family. He was a wonderful man!

Meeting Doug many years ago through work, I can say that he was always patient, always kind, always caring and always proud of his profession.

I will miss him and his gentle spirit.
