Not sure what to say?

Will Never forget my brother Doug. Always a kind word and filled with love for all. And one of my all time favorite drummers who taught me everytime I saw him play. So velvety smooth and sang beautifully too. Man I will go to my own grave missing Doug!

Left the Twin Cities 15 years ago and lost touch with all. Reached out this morning to one of my favorite guitar player / singer friends asking him to give Doug. My phone number. When I heard of his passing a little bit ago a piece of me took a real hit. Doug always treated me like a brother and I loved him like a brother. So sorry for the family. RIP Doug James. Missed and loved from your drum brother in Ohio.

Tophat

To the James family, you have my sincere condolences. When someone falls asleep in death (Ecclesiastes 9: 5,10) the memories we have of them become our most precious treasure. May those memories comfort you as well as Gods promise at John 6:40.

To Doug's family, I am very sorry to hear that he has passed. He was a great drummer and singer, we worked together in Panama City, Florida back in the 80's. Always a smile on his face. Rest In Peace, Doug.

My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Doug always made the Green family Christmas parties very special. We will miss you!

From begining to end..loved you lots lil brother
