Not sure what to say?

I only found out in August 2023 that Dougie passed away when I happened to be downtown and I decided to pop in to the billiard shop for a visit. I spent a lot of time at Doug's Coffee shop and the arcade behind it in my youth. I have many fond memories of Doug. He always seemed happy and he was so kind and funny. I will remember and adore that wonderful man for the rest of my own days. With sincerest respect, may you rest in peace my dear friend!

Our condolences go out to the Jamieson family. As a young boy living in the Victoria Park area, many of my good friends worked at Jamieson's. The entire Conway family bought, skates, skateboards, hockey sticks and bicycles from Doug. When I ran the nightclubs downtown we bought lots of prizing giveaways, and splashed Jamiesons name around the clubs and on our posters and such, Doug always would treat us well in exchange for advertising. Now working in business development at Woodhouse Group...

words cannot express the admiration and respect that this man deserved. I was just a part time employee but couldn't have asked for a nicer man to work for.

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.

I have great memories of fun times shared with Doug when we were both teenagers spending our summers at Sauble Beach. Home base for our activities and adventures was the dock at the marina my family owned and operated on the Sauble River (Doran's Boat Livery). My deepest condolences to Doug's family. I am glad to have known him.
