Doug was a good man and a good example of loyalty and dedication to the Democratic Party. One year I recall the first time I volunteered to work with him with his Democratic umbrella and table at Riverside Park in Ypsilanti. It was election season for the Judges. One of the judges came up with his literature and tried to set it on his table like a bully. Doug was a good Democrat. I remember and appreciate him for his tireless work to make the world a better place through the Democratic Party. His contribution will definitely be missed.
