Not sure what to say?

Thank you ,Dan, for the beautiful letter. What you expressed is exactly what I wanted this scholarship to do~ help others achieve their dreams! It makes my heart smile to know that Dougie contributed to your success I don´t know if you are aware that the new library in Union has a theater. On June 6, 2025 , that theater is being named and dedicated to Doug´s memory ~ The Douglas Michael Krueger Black Box Theater.

In June 2009, I received the scholarship that was founded in Doug Krueger´s honor. I remember that the auditorium was electric with emotion, and I was pretty overwhelmed. Doug´s name would come up every few weeks in the years since he passed, and every time, someone would tear up. Unbelievable~ten years. My only consolation is Doug's scholarship fund which makes me find some good in that tragic day. I hope that, somewhere, Dougie is saying, "Good job,Ma!"

Though gone but never forgotten, you Doug will also be missed and remembered...how could anyone who knew you forget the day that took the life of a wonderful son, nephew and good friend...

Although we remember Doug each and every day, it is especially difficult at this time of the year. May you all have beautiful memories of the time spent with him. He was a great guy whose life was cut short way too soon.

You are on my mind today Doug. Making me appreciate my blessings. Miss you.

On what would have been Doug's 33rd birthday, I am thankful that God allowed me to have him for 23 years :) Thanks to all of you who remember and love him !
