Such fond memories of taking class with Mr LaPage. From Algebra and Geometry to Woodshop and Driver's Ed, Mr LaPage expected, and more often than not got, the best from each and every one of his students. I still have my blue ribbon woodworking project hanging in my home. May he rest in Heavenly peace.

Michael and Christy - my condolences on your father’s passing. He was my wood shop, geometry, and driver’s ed teacher and he was fantastic at all of them. He brought a balance of humor and seriousness to every subject he taught. He was compassionate, respectful, and treated students fairly while also keeping us all in check. His passion for teaching was evident. I remember a geometry test where the entire class did poorly and he took accountability and told us he hadn’t done a good job...

Michael and Christy You wouldn't know me. However, I grew up on Court Street, next to Doug's grandparents in Saginaw, MI. Even though Doug was a few years older, whenever he was over visiting his grandparents, he and I would hang out. He only lived a few blocks away so he was over quite often. I have fond memories of those days. Please accept my condolences as I'm sure he is greatly missed.

My condolences to Micheal and Christy. Mr LaPage was a wonderful teacher and always greeted me with a smile. I enjoyed math with him and he introduced me to drafting which brought me to my career as an architect. I have many fond memories and will always remember him as a great teacher and community member.

Michael and Christy; I am saddened to hear of the passing of your father. I was fortunate to work with him at Pentwater schools. He was truly a gifted educator and enjoyed his interaction with the school community; especially his students. Cherish the many wonderful memories you will have forever. My thoughts and prayers are with you. Faith. Sincerely; Mr. O.

He was one of the best man I ever got to meet. As Christy's partner, he was like dad for me. He always cared about me and my family. We truly lost an angel and heaven gained one. Rest easy dad. Till we meet again. Say hi to mom for us.
