I remember all of you very well. Tyler was my close friend and we had a lot of fun together growing up. Villeta, Tyler and Doug Jr. will be remembered in my prayers. Please remember that he is in a better place now and in the hands of Jesus. What a great glorious time this is for him. I love you all and will never forget you . Villeta: Many years ago you and I worked at the APCo and you were dating Doug. He would always pick you up after work on the side street and all of the girls would be standing and talking with you. Although we loved you very much we were really there to get a good look at that handsome Doug. After you rode away, we all went our separate ways -- WHAT FUNNY MEMORIES. Love you still.

Villeta and kids...you are in our thoughts...on our minds...and part of our prayers. Doug will be missed. He always made me smile and I am truly blessed to have been able to sit across from him at WAPI and just to have known him at all is a true blessing. Me and Brian love ya'll.

I had the privilege of working with Doug for a short time back in the late 90s. I produced a show for him on WTBC in Tuscaloosa while I was still a student. I was intimidated meeting him at first because I was a young wannabe broadcaster and he was the guy I'd been listening to for many years with Eli Gold.
