Not sure what to say?

I don't understand to this day nearly twenty years later why? My best doctor. I will never get past this no matter how long i live. God bless him and his family. ( Patient )

I worked with Dr. Long. He was an amazing doctor. I miss him.

It is a terrible shock that you are no longer with us, Big D. I will never forget your unique shuffling in the hallways as you made your way to our unit! You kidded around with your staff and patients to make them feel more comfortable and you were always talking about the Red Sox and your children. Baseball will never be the same . I will miss you.

Doug was a wonderful person and extraordinary physician whom I worked with for 19 years at Cardiology Associates of Schenectady. My thoughts and prayers are with his wife, Sue, and their three children whom he loved dearly. God Bless You all.

Dr. Long was my doctor for fifteen years his passing was just heartbreaking for mec

For taking me under your wing and teaching me so much, for the arguments we had and the hugs we shared, for the laughs and for the serious talks, for offering your vacation home when you knew I needed time with my family, for the Yankees gifts at Christmas time even though you're a Red Sox fan (now THATS a true friend), for letting me into your life, and sharing a part of yourself not many where fortunate enough to see....for all of this and so much more, my tears fall.....you will always be...

Very saddened to hear of his passing. He was a genuinely caring doctor who went out of his way for his patients, myself included. Prayers for the family and friends he left behind.

To family, I miss him daily, his patients love him and they and I offer our/my support
