I am so sorry for your loss. Dr. Longenecker delivered both my children over 40 years ago, and I still remember him being so kind and gentle with me, and he continued being our Dr. for many years.

We lived next door to the Longenecker family as I was growing up in Englewood. My older sister babysat for the children. He was my Dr for many years and friends with our family. I honor his memory and cherish the times gone by as I grew up there in Englewood. Cindy, Mary , Douglas, and Amy, may you all have peace in knowing what a wonderful, kind, loving, jovial man your father was. God bless you all and peace be with you.

He delivered me as a baby and I remember him from when I was a kid. He was a very caring person and will be missed.

I remember Doug from our sons playing youth hockey together at Hara Arena DAHA & the traveling hockey team. There probably wasn't a kinder, gentler soul then Doug. When my youngest was born in 1980, Doug was my Dr. for him till we moved away to AZ. in 1982. May his children find peace in knowing he was loved and admired by so many. Rest in paradise .
