Not sure what to say?

Doug was one of the best golfing partners I ever played with. Not because he was good but his love for the game. We played together a lot and every outing was truly enjoyable. He loved being out in the great Florida weather, playing golf in shorts in January. He fit in perfectly with the other guys we played golf with and everyone enjoyed his company. He was fun to have around and we all miss him. Hopefully where he is the fairways are wider, the greens flatter and the cups a little larger....

Not a day goes by that you are not on my mind and in my heart, both Aunt Cathy and Uncle Doug. My favorite memories were family gatherings at your house, where everyone was gathered between the kitchen and family room, while amazing meals were prepped! It was great to share those times with the entire family and those memories will never be forgotten. I love you both! May we all find a little peace in the coming days and months.

Uncle Doug,

It's unreal that the last time I got to hug you goodbye, we were dropping you off at the school to get some sleep for your last stretch of the dalmac. Labor day weekend was always a special weekend for me because I knew I got to see you and Aunt Cathy and visit Mackinac almost every year! I still have some of your old dalmac flags you guys have given me throughout the years :)
I will always cherish all the Thanksgivings you allowed me to have surrendered by family...

Uncle Doug,

I will never forget all they great times we had together. Some of my favorite memories were on Thanksgiving or any time you cooked a meal, man did you know how to cook. Also, when I was a bit younger you took time before or after dinner to play some competitive garage driveway basketball. I still remember the time you hit your head really hard on the ground and you just got up like I was nothing to continue beating me in basketball lol. Finally, I enjoyed when we used...

Cathy

Very sorry to hear of your loss. Doug was not only a good boss during the time we spent together in Lansing but a friend who I will remember fondly.

I very much enjoyed the visit and our conversations on the visit to Homosassa this past July

Doug was so right about "retirement vehicles". I only wish we had more time to work on our Florida wardrobes.

Doug will be missed by all who knew him.

Aunt Cathy, our family has suffered tremendous losses within the last ten months. I am truly sorry for your additional loss. Doug was a good guy and has joined Heaven's Family way too soon. I pray your friends and family help with the healing process, and may you find the strength you need.
Love and hugs!!

The music that Doug brought into our lives will never be forgotten.

Cathy,

Thank you for letting us know of your losses. Doug's was unbelievable and Mark and I can't imagine what you must be going through. If you are ever in Wisconsin, please reach out to us for a visit. Please keep in touch so we know where you are and how you are doing. We send our condolences and love.

I never met Doug, but he sounds like a great guy. My deepest condolences to you and your family.
