Not sure what to say?

I still think about Doug and miss his sense of fun, love of cooking and camaraderie. Our little SRP group had a lot of fun times.

The Dowagiac, Michigan "DUHS Class of 1963" extends sincere sympathy and prayers to Doug's family and friends. We shared our most formative years together and each one of us are precious to one another. God grant him eternal rest. Til' we all meet again Doug. Your "Class"

Doug was such a great guy that though I haven't seen him since 10th grade at Dowagiac High, I will always remember his kindness, exuberance for life, and, of course, his great, perfect smile. Lyla Overton Fox

Doug was my former brother-in-law. He was a good guy and he liked to have fun. I am very saddened by his passing as he was a kind and generous spirit who loved life. He called me “horsehead” for most of the time I knew him, but I cannot remember how I earned this title. He was devoted to the Tempe Boys and Girls Club and spent many hours working for their cause. He was president of that club as well. He was a gourmet foodie and partier. He has two wonderful daughters, Christine and Karen, who...

Doug was a remarkable person and the accounting guru at SRP. But as we all know he was much more than a 'number cruncher'. He was our party master, fearless gourmet chef and cool dude with his Corvette. I have missed him and will never forget his friendship. He was also blessed with two wonderful daughters who provided loving care to Doug during his illness. He was a very lucky man to have you by his side.

I worked in Accounting at SRP with Doug for many years. I also lived in the original Ahwatukee when Doug and his family lived there. I have many memories of Doug. I admired his drive and 'smarts' in Accounting...he was instrumental in developing many of SRP's Financial Systems. My sympathies to his two daughters and his extended family.

What a great picture of Doug. He was one of my best friend for many years, and we shared many dinner parties and nights out. I have missed him and his friendship these past years and hope he is now in a better place. May he rest in peace. His friend, Dan

Love to see this smiling picture of my brother. We miss his joyful spirit and know that now he is at peace after his illness.
