Douglas Mackey, 76, Moose Lake, died Wednesday, December 14, 2016 in Augustana Mercy Health Care Center. He was born October 8, 1940 in Bemidji to Harry and Marion (Boe) Mackey. Douglas grew up in Kettle River and attended Moose Lake High School, graduating in 1958. He then attended California State, earning his B.S. degree. Douglas worked at Burroughs Corporation of California. After moving back to Minnesota, he worked at Northwest Airlines before getting into computer sales. Douglas loved golfing and socializing with friends. Douglas was also a member of Moose Lake Golf Course.
Douglas is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Ronald Mackey; niece, Michelle Klavu.
Douglas is survived by 1 sister, Barbara Klavu of Moose Lake; 1 brother, Clifford (June) Mackey of Moose Lake; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
