Not sure what to say?

I can't believe it's been 2 years already! Think about him every time I drive through Shavertown. Wish you were still with us. Miss you bro. Rest in peace! Ray Sabatini

A a time when very few were accepting of my entrance into a then predominantly homogenous school, Doug was one of the first to throw protocol to the wind and accept me for who I was. Always full of life and ready to let his inner child take the reins, he filled the halls of Sem with laughter. We had good times during those years, and I could always count on Doug to make sure I was not a wall flower during reunions. You will be missed.

I am surprised and sad to hear, from a Cornell friend, of Doug's passing. May he be at peace and his spirit live on. I knew Doug at Cornell and loved his tremendous spirit, enthusiasm, positivity and fun-loving nature. I am glad our paths crossed and send my deepest condolences to his family and friends. -Mark Dingle

Doug had a heart of gold. He was quick witted, clever and fun to be around. You will never be forgotten and you will always be in my heart, my friend.
