Vernice and Family
My sympathy. It is a great loss for all of us who new and worked with him at Union carbide and Praxair. He shared his knowledge with me and taught me lot of things as i worked
with him side by side during my tenure at UCC/PRAXAIR. May God give all the strength to Vernice and family to overcome this great loss.

I just wanted to say I am very sorry to hear of your whole family's loss.
Although I have met Doug few times, we changed lots of e-mails.
I had never met any person whose body was donated to the Medical School.
Only special person can have that kind of behavior.
God bless you.

Very sorry to hear of Doug's passing. His calmness under chaotic conditions was notable. My condolences to his family.

My deepest condolences to Verniece and family on Doug's passing. Doug was a true professional and an even greater guy who will be sadly missed.

Vernice and family,
My sympathy. Doug was truly a kind, gentle man. Did he ever become angry or enen raise his voice? My wish for you is to remember the happy times. God's blessings.

Verneice and Jasmine

I was sadden to hear of Doug's illness and now his passing. Although I have not seen you two in many years, I have thought about you often. My wife Anita is in a nursing home with alzheimer's but she joins me in wishing the best for you and your family. I will never forget the day you came to me and asked about Doug.

Douglas was a unique individual. Intelligent, articulate, kind, etc. The list could go on forever. I'll always remember my interactions with Douglas on engineering issues, cribbage games, and other discussions. The Taylor's will keep you and Jasmine in our prayers. Please accept our deepest sympathy.

May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well-lived.

Dear Vernice

Please accept my sincere and heartfelt condolences. While I did have the privilege of getting to know Douglas, knowing you is a wonderful indicator that he surely was a fine man. My prayers are with you and your family.
In prayer for you,
Celeste Lawson
