Douglas P. McCarthy

Doug came to mind yesterday after so many years, I reached out to his old number yesterday, and because of the response, I started looking. I am devastated to find out he´s not here anymore. Please take my humble condolences, it´s now time for me to grieve this loss, and my regrets of not better keeping in touch better these past years. I loved him like a brother and his kindness and compassion have yet to be matched.

I remember fondly Doug´s visit with us in Charlottesville, VA. We went to Monticello and other places. We took pictures with the Blue Ridge Mountains in the background. Doug was dressed in his Navy Military Dress and was proud and I was too for him. I will always cherish those wonderful times! Miss and love you Doug our Angel in Heaven! Aunt Brenda
