Not sure what to say?

After swimming with Doug for several years I didn't see him much when his body stopped cooperating, but was always greeted with a smile when we crossed paths. Doug never failed to amaze me when I would train for months, then he would show up at practice once in a while and pop the fastest 50 anyone in the pool could imagine. Sprinters! Doug is and was a special man ... JONATHAN

My condolences. May your light forever shine.

To Delores, Carly, Dana and Eli: My deepest sympathies and my prayers to each of you as you are getting ready for tomorrow's service (which i am unable to attend since I am out of town working). We have lost a wonderful human being and you have lost your center. Be strong, regroup, and move forward which is what your dad would have wanted. Take care of each other and think of a better day.

Delores and family: I know that Doug has faced tremendous physical challenges in recent years, but I was always amazed at how he could maintain his wit through it all. Although there were sometimes significant gaps in the time that we were able to visit, it was as though we had just stepped out of class those many years ago. I will miss seeing and talking with him and will keep you in my prayers during this time that I know is very difficult.

Dearest Dolores, Carly, Dana and Eli,
We are so saddened to hear about your sweet and loving husband and father. May the promises of our Lord Jesus Christ comfort, strengthen and reassure you in the days to come. What a wonderful family legacy he built and you were the apples of his eye, all starting with you, Delores! With love and continued prayers for you all.

I am so shocked and saddened by Doug's passing. I worked at Crossley McIntosh for years and we were all one big happy family. I will never forget those days. They were some of the best times of my life. Doug was a helluva guy who will be missed by all who knew him. The world was a much better place with his smiling face, wit and humor. Deepest condolences to Delores, Carly, Dana and Eli. Doug, the best band of all time is up there in Heaven. May you rest in peace and enjoy the music.

I am so sad to hear this. Doug was the 'calm-center' we turned to in Law School. An incredibly kind, funny, and generous person. We are all diminished by his absence.

My sincere condolences go out to the whole McIntosh family. Doug was a humble and compassionate man that lived to serve others. While he left us far too young, he will be remembered forever by those whose lives he touched. May he rest in peace.

So sorry that Doug passed away at such an early age. I've been friends with him for over 40 years. He was a genuinely wonderful guy who was loved by all. You and your family are in my prayers.
