Doug, Jimmie Small, G. Wayne Tippit were my best friends and thjey were all in my wedding. Doug and I played thousands of hours of basketball. We went into the army together and to UNT together and got
thrown out of the same bars together. Her was one of the smartest guy and the most generous person I have known in my 80 years.
To family you are a proud group with his legacy
carry it on.

I am sorry about Doug's death..My fondest memory is playing summer baseball with Doug. He was catcher on our team in Tahoka. Be assured of my thoughts and prayers...Doug was a good man.
