I was out of town when I received word that Doug had passed away. Doug and I were friends in high school and I have great memories when we worked stage crew for New Wind at Shades Mountain Baptist Church. The first time that I met Doug was during the 1979 New Wind Choir Tour to Racine, WI. when we roomed together in the dorm at Carthage College.
