Not sure what to say?

Condolences to the Nichols family. Our prayers are with you. He will be greatly missed.

I played baseball with Doug at Sandy Plains and at Sprayberry. He was always one of my favorites. Funny and charismatic not to mention a very talented pitcher. I haven't seen Doug since high school, but I have often thought about him as I relived those younger years. My deepest condolences to the Nichols family.

I was shocked and saddened to hear of the passing of a fellow member of the Graybar family. I know that he will be greatly missed and my deepest sympathies to his family.

I am very saddened by the news of Doug's passing. I am glad that he and his family made their way to Jacksonville for his senior year at Parker. Not only did he make our baseball team much better with his explosive fast ball, but he brightened our lives. I saw Doug a few times following high school and while he was still in college, but I wish I had stayed in touch after that. He was such a great guy. My prayers are with his family.

My deepest sympathies to the Nichols family. I believe Marc Pointer penned it well in stating that Doug's personality was magnetic and uplifting. Though I have not seen Doug since High School, I remember him fondly as such a genuine and caring person for of a contagious joy. My prayers are lifted for Doug's wife and children.
God bless you~

Although I hadnt seen or talked to Doug in almost 25 years, my memories of him from Sprayberry make me smile. Basketball, baseball... He was funny & had a smile for almost everyone who knew him. And from the stories of the SHS 20 yr Reunion, I hear he (and his wife) were still making folks laugh. I wish y'all peace in the coming months, and hope Psalm 121 can help. I take heart knowing that Doug is watching over y'all from above.

Having know Doug, Tad, Jan and Jerry from our years in Atlanta, Jacksonville and Tampa I'm extremely saddened by Doug's passing. All our wishes and prayers go out to his entire family. Mark Malone & Family

We were shocked to hear of the untimely passing of this fine young man.

Our hearts and prayers go out to Doug's wife Tracy, his parents – Jerry and Jan, his brother Tad and all of his family and loved ones.

I worked with Doug for many of his 20 years with Graybar. His passion for excellence, his love of God and his commitment to his family are just a few of the qualities I will remember about Doug.

May he rest in peace today and always, in the arms of the...
