Not sure what to say?

Doug, it has been a year since you left to be with Jesus and even longer since I saw you last. I think of you often and cherish the times we spent trailriding and talking about kids and life. Thanks for the years of taking care of our animals. Miss you brother.

Jennifer and family. I fondly remember Doug's wonderful smile, as well as the care and concern he had for all. This past month, one of his best high school friends, Ron Kappelman, went to join Doug in heaven. I miss Doug and Ron every day and look forward to joining them in our heavenly home. Our earthly home is a little dimmer with Doug and Ron no longer with us.

I can't believe a year has passed! My baby, Tux, for whom Dr. Neilsen cared, has passed, too. Maybe the two of them have reunited. May peace be with you, Jennifer and family

Dr. Nielsen will be missed by me and my pets. He was very kind not only to the animals but me as well making sure I understood everything going on. To the family, I am so sorry for your loss. I know he will be missed greatly.

I just learned of the passing of Doug. He was a great friend and brother in Christ. He was a blessing to me and my family over the last 25 years. Doug always included people he met in the joys of his life. He took care of our families pets and horses and I spent a lot of time in the saddle riding next to Doug. Thank you so much Doug for your friendship. I will see you again my friend. I love you. Willie

My thoughts and prayers go out to Jennifer and the Family for their loss of a great man. Doug was a great physician and a kidder too. Doug will be remembered by many.

Doug is in my thoughts and prayers. He was a wonderful person who left too soon. The class of '66 will always miss him.

My condolences for your loss. Doug was a favorite of my many years of teaching. I loved his smile and his way of sharing his joy. So sorry for your loss. Marsha Risseeuw , Winner, SD

My deepest sympathy and prayers.
