Not sure what to say?

I first met Doug in 1960 at Proctor & Gamble in Cincinnati, where we both worked a short time as young project engineers after college. We then both attended law school In Washington, DC; and enjoyed many good times together there, before both entering the field of Patent law.

He was just a great guy and a great lawyer!

He will be missed by all. Mike Dinnin

My sincerest sympathy. May the God of all comfort strengthen your family during this time of sorrow. Those who die God keeps in his memory because he cares, they are precious in his eyes. Psalms:116:15

Doug will be truly missed. He was a great mentor to me and dozens of other patent attorneys. I'm honored to have been able to work with him and will never forget his great stories and zest for life.

I was a partner of Doug's at the Brobeck and Paul Hastings firms and enjoyed practicing with him very much. As focused as he was upon his IP cases, he always seemed to find the joy and humor in what he was doing, and was generous with his time and advice. I was very sorry to hear of his passing. My condolences to his family.

Doug was a high energy kind of guy who really got things done. He was a great provider for his family with a mind as sharp as a tack. Doug will be missed by all who knew him.

I'm proud of my brother-in-law and will miss him being in my life. Whenever I think of Doug, I see him doing some physical activity, he rarely held still for long. Always exercising or doing some sport. I was also impressed by how healthy he ate - someone we should all try to emulate! Doug was such a success in everything he did in life; With self, career and family. He was a good provider and an all around good person. Et siste farvel for alltid Douglas Olson...
