Doug and I met on a project in Kansas City over 10 years ago now. We have not met since, but have kept in touch over the computer ever since. I will miss the ongoing discussions and his frankness; one never had to wonder which side of a topic Doug stood on. From the way Doug typed about his family, you knew he loved them. He leaves a hole in a lot of people's lives.

Awful news to hear of Doug's passing. I enjoyed working with him in KC.
