Not sure what to say?

Dear Pam,Sarah,Robin,
Ann and I were very saddened to hear about Doug's passing. I enjoyed our conversations about the Red Sox and other sporting events. Although we can not support you in person we want you to know you are in our thoughts.

Dear Pam,Sarah and Robin,
I was so saddened to hear of your husband/dad's passing. My thoughts and prayers are with you at this very difficult time.

Dear Pam and Family, My sincere sympathy to you on the passing of Doug. He and I became friends as little kids at Emanuel Lutheran in Manchester so long ago, and my parents were friends with his folks,Hugo and Flossie. I was saddened to hear the news, but knowing Doug and his deep and abiding faith, I am sure he is "shooting hoops" in Heaven now and smiling down on all of us. God Bless you and keep you strong.

Dear Pam, Sarah and Robin,
We were so sad and shocked to hear of the death of Doug last week. He was a character we shall miss tremendously and reading through the other entries in this book reminds us of what an inspiration he was to the people that he coached. On our visits to the USA and his visits here (in the UK) we remember his warmth and enthusiasm, especially for all forms of sport. I remember Doug pointing out how good Alexander was at ball sports and offering to host him if we...

Mrs. Pearson & Family - I'm very saddened to learn about Coach Pearson's passing. Over the past few days I've found myself reflecting back to my high school years, remembering Coach - some great memories, some great lessons. Sometimes Coach and I didn't see eye to eye, but I respected him then and as time passes he seems wiser every day. My sympathies and my thoughts are with you.

I played for Coach Pearson from '85-'89 at East Longmeadow HS. I was a senior on the team that beat Central and handed Travis Best his only loss in high school. I'm sure this was one of his greatest memories at ELHS. Not only was Coach Pearson a great coach, but he was a great person as well. When I saw him after graduation, he would always first ask me how my family was doing. It wasn't until after we talked about my family that we'd then talk about basketball and I think that says what...

Mrs. pearson and family, We are very sorry for your lost, you will be in our prayers. Helen Scoville and the Respiratory department bmc
