Not sure what to say?

It's been 5 years since my father's passing. I just reread the messages that posted here on this page. It's nice to still read these today. Everyone wrote such nice memories of my father & I appreciate every one of them. I miss you Dad & can't believe it's been 5 years already.

Dear Bernice. I received your letter today and was so saddened by the news. Both you and Liane have my deepest, most sincere sympathy for your loss.

In Remembering Doug, I recall a friendly and amusing young guy who struggled with good humor to find the right career path. Though we lost track of each other over the years it appears he found happiness with a fine and lovable family. I remember his brother Eric and their wonderful mom and dad.
Doug and I, as I mentioned at our 50th high school reunion, spent most of our senior prom finishing off a jug of rum and coke in my backyard and then some at Dotty's...

I am so sorry for your loss, There is not a day that goes by that I don't think of you all. I love you guys and will continue to keep you in my thoughts and prayers.

Bernice & Liane:
I am so sorry for your loss. I will keep you all in my prayers.

To Bernice, Liane and family members, So sorry for your loss.

My thoughts and prayers are with the Perrine family.

It's been nice to read the memories all of you have of my father, thank you for taking the time to post these lovely messages. I remember my father as someone with a dry humor, sometimes a little corny like his father. As a kid we enjoyed watching car races on t.v. and watching tennis. He's one of the reasons I love music so much, a radio or album would always be playing in the house. In healthier days, he really enjoyed bike riding and canoeing. His cousin Ross texted me that he sees him in...

I hope you don't mind, but I'll always think of you as "Dougie" ... our REALLY OLD cousin who'd somehow keep us herded and entertained when we were all together (which never happened enough). You seemed always to be smiling, laughing or cutting up ... but were also a caring and intent listener. When you did speak, lots of wisdom spilled out in a quiet, sweet way. We are so very sad you are gone, Dougie, but I know that there is a joyous reunion going on in Heaven right now.
