09Jan18.....Worked with Doug in Yemen in the early /90s. A great guy and as smart as they come. When I first arrived on the job in Aden, within one day Doug took me to a security meeting held in a ' container ' near the beach. Little did I know that he had a few rounds of beer on hand for everyone. That was Doug.......pwm...

He was a generous and caring man whose welcoming attitude and sense of humour will be missed.
I worked with him in Calgary and Yemen. After civil strife in Yemen, It was Doug with his hands dirty recovered lost documents. His smiles were just BRILLIANT and will be missed. I had asked him to come visit me in Houston AND for a little while I really thought Judy and him will come - Pratima Jessica and I miss...

Doug was my strength when his friend passed away and has always been the guy who made me laugh and shared his love for his family.
I am so happy we saw each other this summer and thank you for sharing my god son with me
