Not sure what to say?

I hope others see Doug's reminder and take a moment to hug their loved ones. Life is too short. Now, 6 years later, he is hopefully watching down on us all with his dear friend Dave Tretheway. I hope these pictures bring others some smiles.

I recently heard of the passing of my childhood friend and neighbor. My memories of Doug are fond ones. When the family moved to the bay I spent many a night. Good times. A wonderful family experienced a terrible loss. From the Nord family to the Pierce family comfort is found in memories. Prayers. Andy Nord and family

Judy and Ron, I am so sorry for your loss. I read this in the paper, which I keep up on. I didn't know Doug, but am sure he was wonderful. May all the memories lift you up and carry you. JoAnn Lotzenhiser Jones

I am so sorry for your loss. I worked with Doug on a number of projects for Department of Licensing. He was smart and direct and yet had a gentle side. I could always count on him to set me straight if I started to veer off course on a project. I appreciated Doug's sense of humor and his commitment to everything he took on.

Sorry for your lost, I met Doug in the sixth grade, I was the new kid at school and Doug became a friend. Doug was a great athlete and competitor. I will never forget the great hikes in the Olympic Mountains with Doug,Dicky,Karl, Eric and Mr. Mahalik.

Linda, so sad to hear of Doug's passing. I too have many fond memories of working with Doug over the years, both as a fellow DOL employee and after he went into contract work. He was a great guy and a hard worker. My sympathies go out to you and his family. Take care.
