Not sure what to say?

I grew up in Pinardville and have know Dougie for a long time. Dougie was the kindest and most gentle person my husband and I have ever known. He always treated EVERYONE with respect, love and happiness. If only more people would be like Dougie, what a world it would be. I also had the pleasure of working with Dougie for several years. Dougie would light up the place and make everyone's day so much better. God is in for a treat! Until we meet again my friend, rest in peace.

so sorry to hear of Doug's passing. I met Doug years ago through Tom O'Reily who was such a wonderful, caring and compassionate care giver. My deepest sympathies to Tom and to Doug's family.

Doug was our neighbor and our friend. He was the unofficial safety officer of the street. He was kind and loving. He was funny and thoughtful. He was strong and gentle. He was an absolute joy and brought endless laughter to our lives. You are missed Doug, until we meet again my friend. Thanks for all the love and memories.

Doug enjoyed life. I am glad to have met you and your extended family on this road of life. Either he liked you or he would tell you he didn't and that would be it. Enjoy your journey!! Rich

Linda and Rachel: We extend to you our heartfelt sympathy at Doug's passing. Both Lynda and I knew Doug well as a positive and upbeat friend who could very much light up the room. We knew Doug first through Mim and Aunt Thelma who ordered groceries from our store back in the '80's and '90's. It became a long term relationship with all three over the years. Doug especially had a way of lifting our spirits - when we met and visited with Mim. We never met the two of you but did meet Dennis...

I will miss waiting on you at Pappy's and you always asking if I was behaving. Rip Doug! You will be missed.❤
