Douglas M. Posey Douglas M. Posey, age 68, of Locust Grove, passed away Monday December 26, 2011 at Mary Washington Hospital. He was a loving, honest and hard-working man, retiring after 40 years of service Potomac Motors in Alexandria. He will be missed by all. Mr. Posey was the husband, for 27 years, of the late, Mavis Peanut Posey and is survived by his daughters, Candace Burnett of Gainesville, Fla. and Dawn Ross of Deltona, Fla.; three step-daughters, Michelle Shook of Partlow, Patti Abram of Stafford and Susan Laudenslager of Spotsylvania; one step-son Richard Lamb of Stafford; ten grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews, cousins and friends. Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Friday December 30, 2011 at Laurel Hill Funeral Home, 10127 Plank Rd., Spotsylvania. I remember when Doug drove the "old school bus on Hoadly Rd.years ago. He was a gentleman. Prayers and thoughts go out to his family and friends. God Bless.
