Not sure what to say?

To Doug’s family, as mentioned in a previous post, I had the honor of being one of Doug’s teammates for the Chowan Jr. College football team back in the mid 80’s. Doug was such an amazing and friendly person, we bonded immediately and I just want you all to know what a great person Doug was. RIP BROTHER

Doug was a phenomenal football player and an even more phenomenal friend/person. I had the opportunity to meet/know Doug during our time together at Chowan. Condolences to his family.

Chowan Football Teammate

Wow...time passes by so quickly, suddenly you go to look for a friend and discover he has passed. Doug and I played football at Chowan Jr College together, he was an amazing person, full of love for everyone around him. My condolences to his family. Brian Uzzo Chowan Football

Prayers for Doug and his family. He was a genuine & honorable friend to me. I remember many days of playing football with Doug in high school. Doug and I spent time together on Carter Hill hunting & trapping as well. R.I.P. Doug.

Dear Karen and family,
You have been in my prayers today and when I heard the news. My deepest sympathies and love for you all at this time. My parents had wonderful things to say about your husband. May God comfort you today and in the days ahead on your journey.
