As Douglas´ middle sister, and baby of family for 7 years until Melinda arrived on scene, Doug was certainly a teacher - giving me piano lessons, correcting letters sent him at college with red ink pen and taught me to sing a difficult solo in french - I took spanish - for a music concert in middle school. I´m so very sad to hear of Doug´s passing. We studied organ with the same teacher, George Decker, when we were in high school. Doug was a lovely person and a fantastically gifted musician.
