I´m so sorry, Phyllis. Doug was such a joy to all. I feel an enormous hole in my chest as I am just now learning of this. His laughter resounds in my ear from the last time we spoke. Wish I could give each of you a big hug right now. God bless you, Trish for being so wonderful.

I was very saddened to hear of Doug´s passing. Doug gave me my first job in journalism at the Free Press about 20 years ago. He was a great teacher, and a mentor, I´ve never forgotten him. My thoughts and prayers are with his loved ones at this difficult time
