Penny, Terry and Dr. Keister, Dr. Robertson was such a wonderful person and played such a big part in so many people's lives. I shall never forget him and the wonderful memories that he left with us as his employees. He taught us so much that still plays such a big part in our lives. It was such a pleasure to have him as a boss and friend. Penny I have always given you the credit for Dr. Robertson hiring me. Had I not known you before I would not have had the chance to work for him. I have always felt that you and Dr. Robertson was so much a part of my extended family. We will miss him so much. The service was so sweet today and was such that I know Dr. Robertson would have been so pleased. Penny please know that you played a very special part in a well lived life. Shirley Walker

Aunt Aileen and Terry,

I have such happy memories of visiting with you all as I was growing up. That meant a lot to me and the family. Uncle Doug was (and is now) a great man who loved and helped so many people. We love you and are thinking of you and praying for you all.

Penny, Terry and Chip, - It was with such sadness that I read of Doug's death this week, as we have always counted you as very special friends. The obituary spoke so clearly of a life well-lived, and I offer my loving sympathy to you in your great loss. Jerry and Doug enjoyed a great friendship over many years, holding each other in highest esteem. They shared so many fun times together and the photo gallery brought back good memories that Jerry talked about so often. I am picturing them in Heaven now, laughing and catching up on a good hunting or fishing story! You have been in our hearts over this past year when we have been on similar paths. Jerry passed away on April 11th, following a courageous battle with metastatic prostate cancer. The last year was hard, but through God's grace and strength, he "fought the good fight, he finished the course, and he kept the faith." I'm so thankful we could walk the journey together. May God bless, keep and comfort you. With love, Joyce Long

I was so very sorry to hear of Dr. Robertson's passing. He was such a fine man and was such a strong influence in my life. He hired me when I was only 18 yrs old when he was still on West Capital St. and trained me in a profession that I am still doing today. He taught me a work ethic that I give him credit for everyday. His zest for life was amazing and his accomplishments, too many to count. I will always smile when I think of him, as I have over all these years. You all are in my thoughts and prayers as you lay him to rest.

Penny and Terrilyn, so sorry to learn of Doug's death. I've recently thought of him often as I'm undergoing TMJ treatment here in Naples. I always admired him so much for his caring concern of his mom, and all our family. I loved seeing the photos you published. Thanks for those memories.
May God bless you in this time of grief. Wish I could be present with you to honor him on Saturday. Please know I'll be thinking of you.

Penny, Terry Dale and Chip, twenty five years ago Dr. Robertson hired me and a couple of weeks later Shirley into the TMJ Center/Jackson Dental Care family where we are still today. Thinking back he taught, shaped and molded us into the compassionate, caring office we are with respect and concern for our patients. Like any family we have had joy and heartbreak along our path, but we have never forgotten it was Dr. Robertson that brought us together with a bond far greater than boss/employee or dentist/patient. He set the example that we were proud to follow. My prayers and love are with you as you celebrate his life and not mourn his passing. He will be missed, but be proud for the difference he made to so many.

Penny, please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you in this time of sadness but I take joy in knowing something of the wonderful life that Doug lived. He is without question one of the most interesting persons I have ever known. I often suggested to him that he should write a book about his adventures, both outdoors and business wise. I will be out of town this weekend and will miss the service, but the memory of my hunting buddy will be with me whenever I am in the woods. May God bless you and the family.

Terry and Chip, Thinking of you in this difficult time. Dr. Doug took care of my Mother for many years. She drove from West Point for every appointment . I appreciate him taking such good care of her.

We always thank God for sending us to Dr. Doug so many years ago. In fact I prayed at church that God would send us something to help with Ron, we had no idea what was wrong, the next morning I opened up the newspaper and there was a big article on Dr. Doug and TMJ, and the rest is history. I can't think of the many people he helped and the other dentists that he taught what TMJ was, no one knew at the time. Within 2 weeks he diagnosed Ron and started treatment. He was so special to so many people over the years and never failed to share with others, I know that he is in Heaven with his Mom now. I was so fortunate to be with him at the nursing home the night she passed away. He took such loving care of her. I have always said that God gives me certain calls, that was one of them. That was the last time that I got to see him. So glad that he was in New Orleans with Terry and Chip. Terry and Chip, I know what you will go through taking care of Penny. It is not easy, we took care of mother and three of her sisters. You all are in my prayers. With prayer and love, Kathy and Ron
