Not sure what to say?

Doug and I shared the same birth date, not the same year. He was friends with my parents before I was born and I called him Uncle Doug during my younger years. When our family and his family moved to Louisiana his first wife Wanedia passed away. My father-in-law had passed away also. Doug and my mother-in-law married and it was the sweetest relationship to watch. I got to call him Dad,. I miss my Uncle / Dad Doug and will be blessed to be with him again one day.

Our thoughts and prayers are with each of you. Mr. Doug will be a wondeerful addition in Heaven. God has welcomed him home.

Our thoughts and prayers are with your family.
Mr. Doug was a truly kind person who will be missed by all who knew him.

Farewell to one of the truely good guys who touched many with his wonderful upbeat, positve & engaging personality. We know your family will sorely miss you,but your wide grin will shine down on all of us.So here's to you " uncle Doug "-thank you for being part of our lives.

We are so sorry to hear of the passing of Mr. Doug. He was such a sweet man and we loved talking to him whenever we could. He will be greatly missed by family and friends.

'Uncle' Doug has been in my life since before I was born. We share the same birthday. He was always known as 'Uncle' Doug. I remember when I first realized he wasn't really a blood relative - I was devastated. Then we were blessed that he married my mother-in-law after they were both widowed. God knows what a special person Doug is - always caring, loving, and smiling! Thank you for making our lives better.
