Jenn & Kim and family- So very sorry for your loss. Lamond and I have hearts that hurt and understand the pain of losing a parent. (It's only been a month since my mom died) i have such fun memories of Doug from out years growing up, and Lamond worked with him before he retired from SFD-I was so happy that they met and bonded a bit! There is a Proverb that says A friend can sticketh closer than a Brother. "Dougie" is the name my Brother Rodney called Doug. They were just like brothers. After The Marine Corp my brother Rod returned home. He had an open invitation to move to Massachusetts close to Dougie which he chose to accept a yr or two later..
